At Tebunah we believe that every journey begins with a story. Our story is one of passion, dedication, and a relentless commitment to excellence.
Tebunah was founded in 2023 with a simple yet powerful vision: after meeting with the staff of our local Elementary School and listening to their requests, Tebunah was formed to support the students, families, and staff of Altura Elementary. Whether we’re reading to the children or assisting the staff accomplish their priorities, our goal is simply to support the education of these students by helping them and their families reach their full potential.
Our Mission
Our mission is clear: Support the education goals of Altura Elementary. We accomplish this by meeting the needs presented. Does the student need improvement in reading English? We read with them. Does the family need assistance? We try to assist them. Does the staff need support accomplishing their educational tasks? We accomplish the tasks they give us. We believe that public education needs public involvement. Would you like to get involved?
What We Do
Once approved to work as a volunteer in Altura Elementary School, Tebunah volunteers are welcome any time and any day the school is open. We spend our time listening to the needs and directions of the staff so that we are assisting with the most immediate tasks. It is absolutely rewarding to know that future generations are being impacted through a little love and service from our volunteers!
